Encaustic card

Suddenly encaustic art has had a revival! In the space of just one week, Michael and Shona have appeared on Create & Craft with their encaustic art demonstrations, my forum friend Hilda has blogged an encaustic art square and I have been asked to do a workshop in encaustic art! Not having looked at my encaustic art products for more than 5 years, I was persuaded to have a play. Here is the result.

WOW Shairon, it's fab. Never thought to stamp over it!!!!

Have you got all the 'right gear' for it?

I had a go once using wax crayons and a travel iron, it came out ok actually!!!

Stunning work Shairon - love the colours you've used

The stamping is actually done first Sam and Zoe. Then you go over it with clear wax before adding the colours. Thanks for your kind comments. My palette is fairly limited Hilda so not a lot of choice of colours but they seemed to have worked for this one.
