Baby bootees

I couldn't resist showing you the blue baby box open as it contains a pair of gorgeous little bootees that I knit. I then make the gift bag, the gift tag and the greetings card and so it is the complete gift all in one.

Little boxes

I was really pleased to find that this week's challenge on the Lotstodo forum is little boxes because they are my all time favourite thing to make. You can make such a wonderful variety of boxes, that there is always something new to come up with. Here are a few of my little boxes. I hope you like them.

Mask

The challenge this week on the Lotstodo forum is "mask it" and as luck would have it, among all my new craft stash, I had bought a metal stencil of a Venetian mask. Unbeknown to me, that was the subject of this week's challenge and so I was able to enter it just in the nick of time. I embossed the stencil onto cream card, added violet stickles to a few little embossed circles and added some ribbon in complemetary colours. I hope it fits the bill!

Glasgow Craft Stash

Just back from our UK trip last night having added 4,000 miles to our ancient jalopy's mileometer. The old girl did us proud as she fast approaches her quarter of a million milestone! But best of all, she carefully carried my not inconsiderable craft stash and I unpacked it all today with not a casualty in sight (mostly due to DH's careful packing I have to say!). I think I have been rather frugal in my purchases. See what you think from the THREE photos....... In my defence, one or two things were bought by request for friends here! Tomorrow's problem is trying to find homes for everything! I foresee many happy hours ahead playing with my new "toys" and will post the results of my endeavours as they arise.

Altered art

It's been a while since I posted - sorry! Been busy preparing for my trip back to Scotland. Just snuck in enough time to join in the Ltd challenge this week, so here is my offering of one altered heat gun and one altered small tin. I can't wait to visit the craft fair at the SECC. I've a ticket for 2 whole days and DH has booked us into the hotel next door! Not too far to stagger back frequently with my craft goodies...........
